My Good News...

Here is the the little secret I've been keeping from my blog. Since miscarrying last summer I was a hesitant to get the word out right away. Honestly, I still feel wary of publicizing my pregnancy, but I won't let the past rob my joy over this child. SO, here's why I've been sick, tired, moody and utterly happy the last few months. Emphasis on tired, though. Thankfully, everything is going well and come August there will be a new little face in our family. We can't wait!

Hi there Annie. Congratulations on the upcoming arrival!
Kameron let me know you're looking for me. I believe my e-mail address had to change since I wrote you. The new one is stephanieksnow@verizon.net. Sorry I've forgotten to let you know that.

Annie,

Yeah for you guys! I totally understand the hesistance. We lost our very first baby. It took 2 yrs. till God blessed us with Nathan. Time flies so fast... we just welcomed Micah last October '06. Hope you are doing well. I know we didn't know each other very well at Faith, but it's great to learn from each other and keep in touch.

Blessings,
Krista (Wiese) Caldwell

First off, Congratulations! I pray that everything goes well. I just found your blog from someone else's and enjoyed the few posts I read. My husband and I, after nearly two years of "looking into it" just became catecumens two weeks ago. I have also had two miscarriages in the last six months, one in September, and the last one just three weeks ago. I can very much relate to the pain of losing our little ones, of wanting so much to at least have a memory to hold onto, and th comfort of knowing that they are in the best place. Your little boy is beautiful; never make apologies for doing what you know to be best for him! I'm just finishing nursing my almost two year old, and where I live, that doesn't seem to be out of the ordinary at all!
Anyway, I've enjoyed reading your blog and will be back!

Sorry for the very long comment!

Hurrah! So nice to be able to celebrate in (cyber) public now! I can't wait to see Johnny as a proud big brother. And I hope the first trimester blahs wear off soon.

Congrats Annie! I think caring for a newborn (or 2 newborns for that matter) is easier than being sick and pregnant! So, cheers for you making it through this hard time of being pregnant. Looking forward to hearing more!
